Eastern sites are defined as survey sites that are east of the Colorado Rockies (104th western longitude).  Bumble bees that are found in both the western and eastern United States are grouped with the western bumble bee species in Fig. 4 (e.g., Bombus griseocollis) (Suppl. material 2).
