The user added the scientific name Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 and the common name “Indian Elephant”. Four other users agreed with his identification. The new observation is displayed as an occurrence point on the distribution map (top right) with information on site-specific environmental conditions and temporal distribution of all observations of that species.
