Study site 73F (60.1055°N, 151.1806°W), a site characteristic of our study area dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis and Chamerion angustifolium, photographed on July 18, 2015.  Note the fire-scarred remains of a Lutz spruce forest that was culled by an extensive spruce bark beetle outbreak in the 1990s and subsequently burned in 2007.
