Igor M. Kessous joins the Editorial board of Biodiversity Data Journal
08 April 2022

Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Pesquisas Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden). I have been studying plant diversity for more than 10 years, with a particular focus on understanding bromeliad diversity and evolution in Brazil and adjacent regions. My research focuses on taxonomy and systematics, and incorporates field work and natural history collections with computational approaches.
I am pleased to join the Editorial Board of Biodiversity Data Journal in 2022. I hope to contribute to the scientific community and to the journal to better understand biodiversity at different levels.
