BDJ welcomes new editors Robert Tropek and Zachary Lahey

The Biodiversity Data Journal is excited to welcome two experts, who recently joined our editorial team. We are wishing them all the best as part of our journal’s team!
- Dr. Robert Tropek is an insect ecologist at Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), working on taxa from the Afrotropics and Central Europe. He is also the President of the Czech Society for Ecology and the Head of the Insect Communities research group. At BDJ, Robert will be handling manuscripts on Lepidoptera in the subjects of Pollination ecology and General ecology. Follow Robert on Twitter (@RobertTropek).
- Dr. Zachary Lahey is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the U.S. Vegetable Laboratory (USDA-ARS) in Charleston (South Carolina), where he is involved in various projects focused on the control of the Silverleaf whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). At BDJ, Zachary will be taking care after works about the parasitic wasps in the families Aphelinidae and Platygastroidea, and their taxonomy and (molecular) systematics.
